About Tacoma Washington Bicycle Club
Founded in 1974, the Tacoma Washington Bicycle Club (TWBC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting cycling for fun, fitness, and transportation throughout Pierce County and the South Puget Sound.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support safe cycling, advocate for better biking infrastructure, and foster a welcoming community for riders of all backgrounds and skill levels.
What We Do
- Group Rides & Events: Regular weekly rides, signature events, and community social spins.
- Advocacy: Partnering with local agencies and coalitions to expand bike lanes and multi-use trails across Pierce County.
- Community Stewardship: Supporting regional trail maintenance and local non-profits including Second Cycle, ForeverGreen Trails, and the Foothills Rails to Trails Coalition.
